It’s an exciting time at Karma Yoga. We have been a cornerstone of the metro Detroit yoga community for 12 years, with long-time and beginning yogis alike finding a home within our walls. We are the premier studio in southeast Michigan offering mind-body-spirit alignment, with a truly spiritual focus that comes from deep in the yogic tradition.
Now, Karma Yoga is becoming bigger, brighter, and farther-reaching.
On 3/1/2015, we opened Karma Yoga’s third studio, in West Bloomfield, Michigan. This will be our largest location, offering an exquisite variety of yoga from the Kundalini, Vinyasa, Hatha, Anusara, and other traditions!
At all of our locations you can choose from a menu of invigorating and inspiring classes every day and every evening, and special workshops and one-of-a-kind programs. We specialize in pairing sacred sound current with movement, as evidenced in our frequent concerts featuring yoga musicians and paired with workshops that include live music.
Find everything you need and desire for your yoga practice within the Karma Yoga family of studios! Our team of experienced teachers and staff create a nurturing sanctuary for our students, who work the physical body while opening to the possibilities for spirit, mind and overall well-being.
What makes Karma Yoga unique is our focus on the spiritual, philosophical and structural detail behind the poses we experience on our mats. Karma is home to all aspects of yoga, coordinated seamlessly for a flow of movement, meditation, devotion, breath and study. You’ll find all the limbs of yoga practiced here. We encourage all of our teachers to do what they do best, offering a variety of perspectives and styles for our students’ benefit and enjoyment.
Karma Yoga is a conscious community for anyone interested in expanding their possibilities – from the youngest among us (prenatal yoga!) to those with limitations (healing yoga!). Everyone is welcome, all the time. We consider yoga to be the path toward becoming a light leader in your work, your relationships, and your community.
