Directed by Katherine Austin Wooley with lead trainer Nancy McCaochan and guest teachers Lynn Medow and Natalie Piet, this one-of-a-kind yoga immersion will give you

**This 5 month immersion will give you ALL of these. . . and if you’re passionate about how you’ve changed, you’ll be able to share—to teach others how to Live a Fulfilled Life through yoga. (Living a Fulfilled Life exceeds Yoga Alliance’s requirements for registry as a Yoga Teacher at the 200-hour level.)
Some yoga experience is helpful, but not essential. If you have the desire and commitment to learn, this program is for you!
Course Curriculum includes but is not limited to:
- Basic and Vigorous Hatha Yoga (Basic, Slow Flow, Vinyasa)
- Living your Yoga (Ayurveda, Lifestyle and Self-Care)
- The Culture of Yoga (History, Philosophy, Kinds)
- How Bodies Move (Anatomy, Poses in Various Planes, Sequencing)
- Energetic Anatomy (Koshas, Chakras, Kundalini)
- Sound Current
- Practicing through Life’s Cycles
- Ethical Foundations

Katherine Austin Wooley
Katherine, E-RYT 200, opened Karma Yoga in 2003. She is certified in The Khalsa Way prenatal yoga, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Kundalini Yoga. An instructor of yoga for 22+ years, a Heart-Based Meditation Technique teacher, a registered Yoga Alliance yoga teacher trainer, Katherine leads yoga retreats and workshops around the world. Beginning in 2012, Katherine expanded the mission and focus of Karma Yoga to offer Michigan’s only full-scale family yoga center, beginning with pre-conception and continuing throughout the lifecycle to offer yoga to all ages and all life stages. Katherine’s most recent role is Board Chairperson for Yoga West, LA (January 2017)
Nancy McCaochan, MA, E-RYT 500 is a former college writing professor whose teaching weaves the threads of her eclectic life experiences and comprehensive professional training into a rich tapestry of Yoga. She holds certificates in Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Kundalini Yoga; her 500 hr training is through the Integrative Yoga Therapy Professional Program. She’s a gifted, responsive and light-hearted teacher who conducts workshops, assists with teacher trainings and leads international retreats. Her first book, Yoga at the Wall, was published in 2008.
Lynn, E-RYT 500, is a compassionate teacher who supports individuals on their journeys to healing and wholeness. An experienced yoga teacher and yoga therapist, Lynn weaves therapeutics into group classes and private sessions. Lynn is the owner of Yoga by Design, a pioneering approach to individualized teaching and therapeutics that earned her a reputation for being the “go-to” person when it comes to questions of healing. Lynn is also the founder of the Yoga by Design Foundation, which funds yoga programs for under-served populations, has produced the DVD, Yoga for Graceful Aging and appears in the book, Like Stanzas in a Poem, Yoga at the Wall.
